“Regulation” is a sci-fi short directed by Ryan Patch.

In the near future, Mia (Sunita Mani), a young social worker, travels to a small community to administer behavior-modifying "patches" that guarantee happiness. She must decide what to do when Kaleigh (Audrey Bennett), a precocious 10-year old girl, refuses to accept the patch.

After it’s festival run, the film was premiered on Gunpowder & Sky’s “DUST” streaming service, and can be seen on “Omeleto” Short film channel as well as various airline in-flight entertainment. Feature adaptation “The Happiness Gap” available in script form.
